Important Information

We are friendly people and work in good faith.  The following provides transparency on important things.  Please read the General Terms and Conditions for a full understanding.  Mona & Co. is the brand name of the company Sarikaya.

1. Pricing: The customer is advised that antiques often do not have a market price. Rather, the value of an antique is in the eye of the beholder, i.e. valuations of an antique can vary subjectively. The customer makes investment transactions at their own discretion and at their own risk.
   
   
2. Returns and Exchanges: Mona & Co. does not accept returns or exchanges.
   
   
3. Reserving and Placing an Order: We expect customers to follow through on orders placed. Mona & Co.  may choose to accept subsequent changes or cancellations of orders by the customer at its own discretion. In any case, a handling fee of CHF 50 shall be payable.  For products from the rug collections, there is no cancellation possible once an order has been placed.
   
   
4. The purchase price is based on the product prices shown in the product presentation at the time of the order. Unless otherwise agreed, prices are quoted in Swiss Francs plus VAT. Shipping costs are not included with the exception of shipping within Switzerland. Mona & Co. will ship through experienced and quality shippers and are willing to accept the customer’s preferred shipper for other countries.
   
   
5. Payments will be made via bank transfer for customers based outside Switzerland and via the online shopping portal for Swiss based customers.
   
   
6. All products from the Collectibles collection are sold in ‘as is’ condition, i.e. they are offered as they are at the time of purchase. Imperfections and patina are natural characteristics of an aged product and do not constitute a defect. All rugs are made on order and by hand. Therefore, there may be slight differences in colour, size and look, from what is shown on the website.  This is in the nature of hand-made products. All warranty claims are therefore explicitly excluded.
   
   
7. Mona & Co. does not make any changes to the wiring of electrical products.
   
   
8. The Collectibles products require special care to maintain their quality and charm. They are generally in good condition, but may require additional maintenance due to their age or signs of use. However, Mona & Co. is not liable for damage caused by improper handling or care of the products. The buyer is responsible for the proper use and care of the items.
   
   
9. The rugs have special care guidance and the customer should follow these care guidelines. The buyer is responsible for the proper use and care of the products.
   
   
10. Data Protection: The protection of the buyer’s personal data is an important concern for Mona & Co. Mona & Co. uses the data that buyers provide to Mona & Co. exclusively for processing their order and for communication as part of the purchasing process and if customer want to be kept updated of new products, marketing events by Mona & Co. or similar.
    
    
11. The buyer’s data will not be passed on to third parties. Mona & Co. is committed to providing a secure website and takes all appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the data in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
